Bell Partners Finance Announces Launch of New Division

Bell Partners Finance (now Evolve Lending & Finance) was featured in Mortgage Professional Australia following the announcement of its new asset and business finance division, marking a significant expansion of the business beyond its established residential lending base.

Managing Director Mark Stevenson appointed commercial finance specialists Arthur Peios and Patrick Patacsil, both based in Sydney, to lead the new division. Mark described the pair as high-calibre commercial lending specialists well suited to drive the growth of the offering across the firm’s existing business client base and broader professional network.

The rationale behind the expansion was grounded in a genuine gap Mark had observed in the market. Small and medium enterprise businesses seeking finance were routinely underserved by the banks, which in his view rarely had the depth of understanding of how businesses actually operate. A broker specialising in asset and business finance, by contrast, operates at the same level as the business owner, understands the context behind a financing need, and can provide the long-term ongoing support that banks simply do not offer once the initial loan is settled.

Patrick Patacsil added further colour on the partnership angle, noting that accountants frequently worked alongside asset and business finance brokers to ensure their clients received more personalised service and better-matched financial solutions. The collaboration between accountant and broker could significantly reduce the effort required from the client while also streamlining bookkeeping by ensuring the broker supplied all required documentation for the client’s asset purchase.

The launch of the asset and business finance division reflected the next stage of growth for what would become Evolve Lending & Finance, broadening its capability to serve clients across a wider range of lending needs.
