Bell Partners Finance (now Evolve Lending & Finance) was featured in Australian Broker News following the launch of its real estate partner program, a commission-sharing arrangement designed to bring real estate agents and specialist mortgage brokers together in a way that benefits both parties and ultimately delivers a better experience for buyers.

Mark Stevenson outlined the practical value for agents. By connecting buyers with a specialist broker who can navigate the lending process quickly and effectively, agents see faster transactions, a larger pool of qualified buyers and a smoother overall purchase experience. For buyers, access to a wider range of lenders and a team with real negotiating power means better terms and rates than they would typically find on their own.

The shared commission model was a central element of the program. Real estate agents who joined were entitled to share in the commissions Bell Partners Finance received from lenders for originating home loans on behalf of the agent’s buyers, including in situations where the buyer ultimately purchased a different property than one the agent had listed. The program essentially rewarded agents for their role in the buyer’s financing journey, not just for the property transaction itself.

Mark also emphasised the longer-term relationship dimension. Partnering with Bell Partners Finance expanded an agent’s professional network, opened new referral pathways and gave agents access to the brokerage’s calendar of networking events throughout the year. The goal was a relationship that generated value beyond any single deal.
